After leaving my previous position as an administrator, I was looking to pursue a career that was more fulfilling and incorporated my passion for pet care and being outdoors. Throughout my life, I have devoted my time to ensuring that pets of all kinds are well cared for. Whether it was raising the rats that I rescued from the pound, the guinea pigs sold to my family by the Rockhampton Zoo or rescuing a poor unfortunate lizard my brother accidentally flushed when bathing his new friend. I have always jumped at the chance to enrich the life of an animal.
Over the last two years, I have continued developed my animal handling skills further through volunteering with the RSPCA. I have learnt about the importance of socialization, exercise and effective primary care. During our meet and greet, I will discuss your pet care requirements, the likes and dislikes of each of your pet/s and any health concerns you may have.
If your beloved pet is particularly anxious, dislikes changing environments or you prefer that your companion stays in a more homely environment than a kennel or cattery, my service would be beneficial to you. I will care for your pet with as much love and attention as my own. I will visit your pet, once or twice a day dependent on your preference.
As I know that you will miss your companion/s, I will provide updates of my visits via text message, email, Facebook, or messenger. Other Social Media can be requested during our Meet and Greet. I look forward to meeting you and your pet.
